This festival was named after the Angelo - Saxon Goddess : Eostre, Eastre & in old German Ostara.

 There is little known about this Goddess except to say that her time of worship and celebration is at the Autumn Equinox, which became know as Easter ( yet again the church sticking their nose in where it’s not wanted or Needed ). What we do know is that she was the Goddess of Fertility and has been associated with Hares & Eggs.

The Angelo - Saxon Luna month, which in time became known as APRIL, was called Eastremonath. The Equinox is a time of Fertility, New Life, Balance & Harmony. Both light and dark are of equal length and in Perfect balance. It is a time of Birth, and Manifestation.

Daffodils, Tulips and Crocuses are in full bloom, Blossom appears on trees & Catkins can be found on the Hazel And Willow.

Any rites or rituals are best performed outdoors at dawn or Dusk, the time between light & dark. As at Imbolc, seeds may be planted and blessed, seeds of Wisdom, Understanding and Majikal shills may also be Planted.
