The name Long Nights Moon brings to mind the Winter Solstice, a date that has been observed for more than 12,000 years.

Beneath the Long Nights Moon, light a candle of White or Silver to honour the Luna deities. Thank them for the light of the night sky and the knowledge that the Suns light will return in the months to come. Let the candle burn its self out even if you are finished before it is.
