FIR NEEDLE - SILVER. Abies alba. The essential oil is for EXTERNAL USE ONLY and it should always be diluted with a suitable carrier oil such as Sweet Almond Oil before applying to the skin. Keep it away from children and pets. It is non-toxic and non-irritant but with possible sensitization in some individuals. Use for arthritis, bronchitis, colds, coughs, fever, 'flu, muscular aches and pains, rheumatism, sinusitis. (Also known as Abies pectinata, Edeltanne, European Silver Fir, Fir Needle Oil, Strassburg Turpentine Oil, Templin Cone Oil, Vosges Turpentine Oil, Weisstanne, Whitespruce.)

FRANKINCENSE. Boswellia carteri. Frankincense is conducive to prayer and meditation. The essential oil is for EXTERNAL USE ONLY and it should always be diluted with a suitable carrier oil such as Sweet Almond Oil before applying to the skin. Keep it away from children and pets. It is non-toxic and non-irritant but with possible sensitization in some individuals. Use for anxiety, asthma, blemishes, bronchitis, catarrh, colds, coughs, cystitis, dry skin, dysmenorrhoea, 'flu, incense, laryngitis, leucorrhoea, mature skin, metrorrhhagia, nervous tension, scars, stress related conditions, weeping abscesses, wounds, wrinkles. Frankincense is very conducive to prayer and meditation. (Also known as Gum Thus, Olibanum.) Other varieties are Sacred Frankincense (Boswellia sacra), Indian Frankincense (Boswellia serrata) and Boswellia frefreana which has a lower thujone content. Used in Angel Therapy to stimulate the Seventh Chakra (crown) for spirituality and linking with the higher self, inner knowledge and cosmic consciousness.

GALANGAL. Alpinia officinarum. Closely related to Ginger ( Zingiber officinale) with similar properties. The essential oil is for EXTERNAL USE ONLY and it should always be diluted with a suitable carrier oil such as Sweet Almond Oil before applying to the skin. Keep it away from children and pets. It is non-toxic and non-irritant but with possible sensitization in some individuals. (Also known as Chinese Ginger, Colic Root, East Indian Root, Galanga, Ginger Root, Languas officinarum, Radix galanga minoris, Small Galangal.) Not to be confused with Kaempferia Galanga, the Kentjoer of Malaysian medicine.
