The Butterfly
The butterfly is a truly magical creature, transforming from a caterpillar of the Earth, to a creature of the Air, just as the Goddess transforms from Crone to Maiden at Imbolc.
The butterfly carries pollen from flowers and spreads colour throughout our landscape, Gaia's artists in nature. Although they appear to be delicate, gentle creatures, they are incredibly brave, some soaring the snowy Alps, while others fly above the foaming oceans.
The butterfly is a beautiful creature in its many colours and shows us that change can transform our lives, bringing us enlightment and enrichment. |
