ALOE VERA. Aloe Vera. The oil has antioxidant properties and may benefit the immune system, those with stiff joints, digestion and circulation of the blood. It is usually taken internally as health supplement capsules.

AMBER RESINOID. A unique oil distilled from fossil amber which has the most incredible exotic fragrance. The essential oil is for EXTERNAL USE ONLY and it should always be diluted with a suitable carrier oil such as Sweet Almond Oil before applying to the skin. Keep it away from children and pets. It is non-toxic and non-irritant but with possible sensitisation in some individuals. Aroma therapists use it for anxiety, depression, nervous tension and stress related conditions. Used in Angel Therapy for calming and balancing to the chakras and protecting its wearer from negative influences.

AMBRETTE SEED. Abelmoschus moschatus. An oil which improves with age like a fine wine. The essential oil is for EXTERNAL USE ONLY and it should always be diluted with a suitable carrier oil such as Sweet Almond Oil before applying to the skin. Keep it away from children and pets. It is non-toxic and non-irritant but with possible sensitisation in some individuals. Aroma therapists use it for anxiety, cramp, depression, fatigue, muscular aches and pains, nervous tension, poor circulation and stress related conditions. (Also known as Egyptian Alcee, Hibiscus abelmoschus, Musk Mallow, Musk Seed, Target-Leaved Hibiscus.)

AMMI VISNAGA. Ammi visnaga. - The essential oil is for EXTERNAL USE ONLY and is intended for inhalation. Keep it away from children and pets. It is non-toxic but should be used in moderation. Photo toxic - avoid bright sunlight. Aroma therapists use it for asthma and bronchial asthma. (Also known as Khella Seed, Visnaga.) A most unpleasant smelling essential oil which is best blended with something lemony, like May Chang.

AMYRIS. Amyris balsamifera. The essential oil is for EXTERNAL USE ONLY and it should always be diluted with a suitable carrier oil such as Sweet Almond Oil before applying to the skin. Keep it away from children and pets. It is non-toxic and non-irritant but with possible sensitisation in some individuals. Aroma therapists use it as a substitute for Sandalwood. (Also known as West Indian Sandalwood, West Indian Rosewood, Schimmelia oliefera.)
