Casting:         The act, by use of your own will, to send out influences for a specific action.

Widdershins:  To move Anti-Clockwise ( as in against the direction of the sun in Banishing Rituals )

Deosil:            To move Clockwise ( as in the direction that the Sun Travels )

Now for the Tools:

1. The Wand,            This is used to Direct Energies. best made from natural wood and can be decorated or left plain. If taken from a tree be mindful to give the tree your thanks and leave either an Egg ( symbol of Life ) or some coins. Most wands that you can purchase have either a Crystal or a Pine Cone fixed to the Tip ( working end ). Usually a Forearm in Length.
2. Cauldron,              This as you can imagine is used to Brew Herbs for Healing or Brews for Castings. In an Emergency it can be used for Ordinary Cooking.
3. The Circle:         A Circle is cast ( usually using the Athame ) to provide an area to work in that is free of all Negativity. The circle can be open wide enough for thousands of people to fit inside or small enough for just one. It just depends what You want.
4. Athame:            A Knife used rather like a wand but more Potent, Usually more Ceremonial and can actually be Blunt, again it can be very sharp, the choice is yours.
5. White Handled Knife, This knife in its Basic form is used for Blessings,Inscribing & Consecration.
